Just take a look...
Miu Miu Fall 2011

PRADA FALL 2011

I have a feeling those Prada dresses will be a hit within celebs, models, and even MAGAZINE COVERS! :))

Well last time, Prada Spring 2011 featured brogue espadrilles while Miu Miu Spring 2011 featured oxford sandal heels, basically variations of the oxford shoes/brogues. :)

MIDDLE EAST GOVERNMENT THINKS THE ADS ARE TO RISQUE SO THEY DECIDED TO PUT ON A SHIRT UNDER THOSE DRESSES. UNDERSTANDABLE BUT NOT FASHIONABLE. :>

OH BOY... NOW IT'S PRADA

Last year, every fashion magazine cover was filled with a model or celeb wearing either a Miu Miu Fall 2010 dress or a Balmain Fall 2010 dress. Balmain won with 7 covers but Miu Miu followed with 5. DAMN!

Now it's Prada Spring 2011 multicolored dress. HOW DOES MIUCCIA DO IT?!?!?!?

Tina Fey in InStyle, Gwen Stefani in Elle UK and Amanda Seyfried in Elle.

NO MORE GIVENCHY HAUTE COUTURE?

I thought they were relatively successful?!?!?
PLEASE DON'T DO THIS!!!! :(

More rumors are circulating about Riccardo Tisci's move to Christian Dior.
Style expert and fashion CEO Susan Tabak tweeted on Sunday:
Sources tell me as Riccardo Tisci moves to Dior - his pr staff goes along too. Who will be replaced at Givenchy? and PR?
But the shocker was the next tweet:
And now I hear Givenchy Haute Couture - finito

With Tisci (supposedly) moving to Dior, what will happen to Givenchy. Givenchy Couture is SO MUCH BETTER than Armani Prive. I guess they need to find a great couture designer to do this, PLEASE!

Suggestion is the people from On Aura Tout Vu. :)

Or hire some new young and fresh designers! I go for Haider Ackermann. And why am I thinking that Isabel Marant should design for Givenchy? :))

FALL 2011 FASHION WEEK HIGHLIGHTS: PARIS KICKS ASS!

Paris is still the best fashion week of all!

With a lot of highlights!

GaGa on Mugler
Jessica Stam returns on Mugler from walking Marc Jacobs on NY Fashion Week
Freja Beha Erichsen returns from Hakaan
Chanel goes dark (finally!)
Louis Vuitton's expensive elevator-way show!
Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss on Louis Vuitton show

ELIZABETH TAYLOR

R.I.P. ELIZABETH TAYLOR XXXXXXX

FASHION WEEK HIGHLIGHTS: SUPES RULE VUITTON!

Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss returned for Vuitton.

It was definitely the highlight of Fashion Week. A simple but expensive runway (models rode an elevator up, then exit the elevator and walk on the runway). I think the 2nd biggest expense was the salaries of top models Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Jessica Stam, and Freja Beha Erichsen. :)

FASHION WEEK HIGHLIGHTS: FREJA BEHA ERICHSEN RETURNS!

That's how big she is. She made headlines by not appearing!

I mean, Jessica Stam was absent mostly throughout Spring 2011 as a model, but she was present as an audience. Looks like top models are taking a break. Better watch out, Arizona Muse, Jac, Lindsey Wixson might take over those jobs.

Freja did not appear for NY Fashion Week, which sparked rumors that she'll only do Milan and Paris for this season (she skipped London last season).

But when Milan FW started and still no Freja, rumors swirled that she'll skip the whole season which made a lot of fans cried. Including me.

Thank God she went for Paris Fashion Week. I mean, it would be a shame if she didn't appear on Chanel, Valentino, and Louis Vuitton where she is the face of their campaigns. Also, love the fact that she was seen on Givenchy and OPENED ALEXANDER MCQUEEN!

MORE POWER FREJA! :)

FASHION WEEK HIGHLIGHTS: MARC JACOBS MILLION DOLLAR SHOW!

LITERALLY!
From the materials of the clothes, the imported hair extensions, professional hairstylists, and the latex fabric used for the set, the show costs more than around a million dollars!

Well, the clothes were good so I'm guessing he'll earn more than that! :)

Plus, JESSICA STAM RETURNS SINCE WALKING FOR SPRING 2011 PRADA SHOW.

And, Sadly FREJA BEHA ERICHSEN BREAKS HER RECORDS BY NOT APPEARING ON THE RUNWAY AFTER SHE WALKED FOR 11 SEASONS. :(

Tom Ford Asked Show Guests To Sign A Non Disclosure Agreement

We already knew that Tom Ford’s fall show during London Fashion Week would be as exclusive — and perhaps even more quietly produced — than his spring show in New York last September. What we didn’t know guests at that show would have to sign legally binding documents just to get in the door.
Fashionista reports that guests of Ford’s show, which was held presentation style over the last two days, were asked to sign non-disclosure agreements preventing them from talking about the collection until this summer (and to keep anyone from printing clandestine cell phone pictures of the collection, which is exactly what Cathy Horyn of The New York Times did the day after Ford’s spring show.
Does that mean Horyn wasn’t invited? We don’t know for sure, though Ford told the Los Angeles Times he didn’t want to be “reviewed.” We don’t know what the clothes will look like, so we don’t know what the reviews will look like, either. (To be quite honest, we don’t know if the show even really happened.)
We don’t know anything about the show, except that no one is talking about it. There’s even a satirical little story about the show in London’s issue of The Daily, which proclaims “One can only imagine what wonderful things Mr. Ford could have done. A wistful moment with chain mail? Or colours inspired by, say, Goya?”
Unless someone is willing to break that non-disclosure agreement, we won’t know ’til summer.

RICCARDO TISCI TO REPLACE GALLIANO AS DIOR CREATIVE DIRECTOR

WOW! THAT'S A 360!
>> Riccardo Tisci is regarded as a favorite to succeed John Galliano at Dior — he already works for LVMH at Givenchy, and as a source told Racked, "Givenchy is a training ground for Dior, just like for Galliano in the '90s" (Galliano was creative director at Givenchy before joining Dior in 1996).
Now, Fashionista reports: "The latest gossip [at Paris Fashion Week] goes something like this: Riccardo Tisci will indeed replace Galliano at Christian DiorHaider Ackermann will slip into Tisci’s spot at Givenchy, and despite YSL’s vehement denial otherwise, Hedi Slimane is about to take over for Stefano Pilati. Oh, and yes, Carine Roitfeld is coming along for the ride."
Vogue UK heard similarly regarding Pilati and Saint Laurent: "Fashion insiders close to the action in Paris suggest that a major fashion reshuffle could be set in to motion in the coming week — and may be sparked by the rumoured appointment of Hedi Slimane and Carine Roitfeld as the new creative team at the helm of YSL. Nothing has been confirmed by the brand, but our sources suggest that — despite YSL protestations to the contrary — Pilati may be replaced."

At cocoperez...
Derek Blasberg tweeted from Katy Perry's California Dreams tour in Paris:
"I was just told backstage at the @KatyPerry concert (of all places!) that Riccardo Tisci is CONFIRMED at Dior. I leave #PFW for a second…"

Riccardo Tisci will give a dark and romantic edge to Dior! and Haider Ackermann will continue the Givenchy pride Tisci showed! As for Hedi Slimane, I love Dior Homme when he was creative director! Can't believe he's going back to designing. :)

I must say I'm gonna miss Tisci at Givenchy. I mean I happen to have the hots for Mr. Tisci, he is SO HOT!

My panties just dropped. :)))
And plus... he works out... A LOT!

Just a dream again. :(

CHANEL GOES DARK

I think a lot of designers read my blog about my fondness of a certain black leather biker boots, even Mr. Karl Lagerfeld. DARKNESS WAS A RECURRING THEME THROUGHOUT FASHION WEEK FROM NEW YORK TO PARIS. And Chanel was no joke. The runway was surrounded by black coals and a burning smoke effect. (I'm sure it's not real smoke ;) )

Just check out Freja. In my favorite outfit of the whole collection.
See the background? Oh Mr. Karl Lagerfeld, I'll do anything to be a Chanel model. :D
I'm fierce and have a unique look and style. I can help you. :))

UPDATE:
Already used it for Batanes and I think that did the job of making it feel vintage! I'm now scouring vintage stores (ukay-ukay) for some more nice finds! PS. My boots are not from ukay okay? :))) Hope I find with the right size though! :D

BALMAIN BETTERNESS!

While Balmain's Spring 2011 collection is growing on me, the fall collection was much better. But still there were a lot of clothes I have yet to feel. It's nice to see that they made a jumpsuit. The last time was Fall 2009. Love Balmain still! Christophe Decarnin was not there because he was advised by his doctors to rest. You still did good Christophe! :)

GaGa fierce much?

GaGa was so good that she made Anna Wintour smile!
Looking at the video, it was only GaGa who was comfortable wearing those HIGH, VERY HIGH HEELS! Even some of the professional models tripped!

IT'S SO NICE TO SEE JESSICA STAM AND COCO ROCHA WORKED IT! COCO ROCHA WAS THE RUNNER UP FOR THE FIERCEST WALK AND PERSONALITY, AFTER GAGA OF COURSE! ;D

HERE'S THE TWEET BY @derekblasberg

Please note @LadyGaga's finale caused Anna Wintour to smile, an event I haven't seen since Lee McQueen's They Shoot Horses show in Oct 2003.

Love! :D

GALLIANO IN TROUBLE!

Credit: vogue.co.uk
Updated Tuesday 1 March 8.17am: Natalie Portman has condemned John Galliano, following the release of a video of him using anti-Semitic language. Portman, who is the face of Christian Dior's Miss Dior Cherie fragrance, is also Jewish.
"I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano's comments that surfaced today," the Oscar winner said in a statement released last night. "In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr Galliano in any way. I hope at the very least, these terrible comments remind us to reflect and act upon combating these still-existing prejudices that are the opposite of all that is beautiful."
Updated Monday 28 February 6.03pm: John Galliano attended a police station in Paris yesterday with his lawyer, Stephane Zerbib, and was questioned for four hours before being released. Zerbib said that Galliano was "in great shape" and maintained, despite the video's release, that he had "never made an anti-Semitic remark in more than ten years at Dior". Zerbib had no comment to make on the video itself, but asserted, "What matters isn't what's on the internet, what matters are the testimonies and the hearings". Making anti-Semitic remarks carries a prison sentence of up to six months in France, the Telegraph reports.
Updated Monday 28 February 5.28pm: Italian Vogue's Franca Sozzani has defended John Galliano for his videotaped outburst, stating that Galliano "was clearly provoked, and filmed while obviously inebriated". She also suggested that the woman who taped it might have done so for financial motives, NY Magazine reports.
Updated Monday 28 February 4.46pm: Giorgio Armani says he feels sorry for John Galliano. Following his autumn/winter 2011-12 show earlier today, the Italian designer told the Telegraph's Hilary Alexander, via an interpreter backstage, that he was sorry to hear what had happened to Galliano - acknowledging that it must be a difficult time for him - adding that he was sorry that Galliano had been videotaped without his knowledge.
Updated Monday 28 February 12.30pm: Another complaint alleging anti-Semitic remarks against John Galliano was filed on Saturday with Paris police, the designer's lawyer Stéphane Zerbib confirmed today. A second woman, as yet unnamed, has accused the designer, WWD reports, but it is not yet clear if the incident relates to the film which emerged today (see below for more information). Géraldine Bloch and her companion, Philippe Virgiti, filed charges against Galliano on Thursday - and the designer filed a counter-claim of defamation, injury and menace against Bloch and Virgiti later the same day.
Updated Monday 28 February 11.03am: Following the release of the video footage of John Galliano, we caught up with a representative for the label this morning: "As announced in Sidney Toledano's statement on Friday, John Galliano is suspended pending the results of the police investigation. We did the right thing corporately, which is to allow the police to investigate any new evidence that emerges. It's out of the company's hands - and with the police - and Galliano will be suspended until it is resolved. I know there have been rumours about a possible announcement today, but it's not something I can confirm."
Updated Monday 28 February 10.37am: A video has emerged of John Galliano, reportedly in the same bar where Thursday's incident took place, using anti-Semitic insults towards a group of friends drinking at a nearby table. The designer appears drunk in the film, taken on a mobile phone and released by the Sun this morning.
Updated Monday 28 February 8.48am: Rumours on the Milan front row this morning suggest that a Dior announcement about the fate of Galliano is imminent - and may even happen today. A decision this week would mean that Galliano will either be reinstated in time to take his famous bow at the end of the Christian Dior catwalk show next Friday, or will be absent from his first Dior show in 15 years.
Updated Sunday 27 February 2.36pm: John Galliano is set to come face to face with his the woman who has accused him of using anti-Semitic insults towards her, Géraldine Bloch. The meeting, organised by the Paris public prosecutor's office, is set to take place tomorrow night to get to the bottom of what really happened at the incident on Thursday night.

"They have to find out the truth," John Galliano's lawyer Stéphane Zerbib told WWD, adding it is impossible to determine how long the investigation will take and whether it will end up in court. "If the public prosecutor's office decides it is an emergency case, things could go very quickly."

Updated Saturday 26 February 10.02am: John Galliano is reportedly fighting back against allegations that he was heard making anti-Semetic and racist remarks to a couple in a Paris restaurant on Thursday night, accusing them of defamation. His lawyer added that he is "shocked" by his suspension from Christian Dior.

"He is not guilty and is not embroiled in a court case or anything," Zerbib told WWD. "He feels it is a decision that has been made without verification of the facts and based on one side of the story and he is very shocked about that."
Updated Friday 25 February 2.15pm: Christian Dior has confirmed that John Galliano has been suspended from his role with the company pending investigation.
"Dior affirms with the utmost conviction its policy of zero tolerance towards any anti-Semitic or racist words or behaviour," Dior chief executive Sidney Toledano said in a statement which we received this afternoon. "Pending the results of the inquiry, Christian Dior has suspended John Galliano from his responsibilities."
Updated Friday 25 February 8.22am: John Galliano has been arrested for an alleged assault, as well as alleged anti-Semitic remarks, reports on international news agency AFP suggest today - but all may not be as it seems. We spoke to someone this morning who was in the cafe at the time of the altercation - and her story suggests Galliano may not have been at fault.
"We had a table at La Perle and John Galliano sat next to us," our eyewitness told us. "He spoke to a couple at a nearby table to say 'Cheers' and they insulted him. An argument started and the police came, so Galliano's bodyguard suggested that they should go to the police station to sort it out. He wasn't 'busted' aggressively by police, it was very quiet and peaceful. I definitely didn't hear him say anything anti-Semitic, or against any religion, it was all very calm."
Sources told AFP earlier this morning that the Christian Dior creative director was apprehended in Paris last night for assault, following an altercation in the city's Marais district. He was reportedly released by police this morning. The designer was allegedly accused of verbally abusing a couple who were sitting on a cafe terrace - and was found to have been drinking alcohol when he was arrested.
"For the moment we don't know what led him to address the couple," the police source said.
A Christian Dior spokesperson said this morning that the label does not have any official comment as yet.

MADONNA IN VANITY FAIR OSCAR'S AFTERPARTY

Gotta have Madonna first! :)

Madonna was seen wearing this sexy ensemble to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. And she's reliving her "What It feels like for a girl" hair. Only longer! She is so sexy and looks like a better version of Britney's Grammy 2010 ensemble.

So .... WHO WAS SHE WEARING?

ANSWER: Francesco Scognamiglio

FALL 2011 MADNESS!

As you can see Fall 2011 collections had fallen (get it?) on us.
New York and London are done and Milan is currently parading.

Still gushing over the collections.

Can't wait to post about it soon! I can't keep my eyes off Burberry, Emilio Pucci, PRADA and Versace! :)
